This group is led by an American Lung Association trained facilitator, Judy Fasone, RN. Judy helps you learn better ways to cope with your diagnosis and live life to the fullest with chronic lung disease during these regularly scheduled educational programs. Plus, it’s fun and enriching to connect with others. Each week we find ways to support each other through listening, educational topics the group decides on, and simple ways to get moving in sitting and standing positions. In addition to this group, Judy encourages you to sign up for the Just One Step Walking Club that follows this group immediately after to increase your endurance. 553606 A 10-11 am M 9/8-9/29 553606 B 10-11 am M 10/6-10/27 553606 C 10-11 am M 11/3-11/24 553606 D 10-11 am M 12/1-12/29 (skip 12/22) BCCC, Level 2, Program Room B $20 R-BCCC M | $24 NR O 4 sessions JUST ONE STEP WALKING CLUB | 50+ YRS Judy Fasone Your facilitator, Judy Fasone, is a nurse and somatic therapist, that offers suggestions to help you improve your posture and your endurance. You walk at your own pace with the support of the facilitator. Walking with the group is not the goal. We all have our own pace. If you can walk 15 feet without becoming winded, you are ready for this group! If you have a cane a walker or rollator, bring it along. Going for a walk with one or more friends is a form of socializing, which is essential for good health. Socializing helps stave off isolation and loneliness, which are
associated with other chronic diseases. 553607 A 11:15 am-12:15 pm M
