CARDIO & STRENGTH | 50+ YRS Chrystal Allen Cardio & Strength is a fun, energizing workout designed for active Older Adults. Move to familiar music while alternating through four exercises one per minute before taking a short water break, then repeating. This class includes a full warm-up, strength training, balance work and a relaxing cool-down. Enjoy a supportive, motivating environment that builds endurance, improves mobility and keeps you feeling strong and steady! Overall, strength training builds muscle and reduces the loss of muscle mass. However, strength training also recharges metabolism, increases bone density, enhances mental health, improves blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. Aging Strength is an intermediate-advanced class that uses both body weight and simple equipment to achieve these outcomes. Floor exercises included in this class.
