Do you have injuries or surgeries that need some special attention? Need a push to stay motivated? Instructors Jennifer Ramsey and Rachel Hanna Hay, certified personal trainers make your workout challenging but fun! Start with a one-on-one evaluation, then schedule personal training sessions for guided workouts. Evaluations are a one-time $55 fee. You must register in person for this program. Personal Training Cancellation Policy We understand cancellations may be necessary from time to time. Cancellations of personal training appointments made five full business days prior to the date of the appointment may be rescheduled. Cancellations made within the five business days prior to the date of the appointment are not refunded or credited. If you are unable to participate due to a personal medical condition, we can consider your request as a credit towards another future session. Recurring cancellations due to medical reasons will be reviewed based on frequency/ trends and overall impact on rescheduling to fill vacancies. Zumba Gold® takes the Zumba® formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. Active older adults want camaraderie, excitement and fitness as a regular part of their weekly schedule. Zumba Gold® is the perfect fit. It is a dance-fitness class that feels friendly and most of all, fun. If you’re looking to mix up your exercise routine in your older and wiser years, try Fit after 50. This class mixes up both strength and cardio exercises, making no two workouts exactly the same. Learn to strengthen your muscles and increase your energy levels. All levels welcome. However, strength training also recharges metabolism, increases bone density, enhances mental health, improves blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. Aging Strength is an intermediate-advanced class that uses both body weight and simple equipment to achieve these outcomes. Floor exercises included in this class. Tai Chi strengthens the physical as well as the mental well-being of the practitioner. We practice basic Yoga poses that tone and strengthen, increase flexibility and improve balance. We transition to Pilates mat exercises to focus on core muscles that help strengthen and reshape the mid-section. Class concludes with deep stretching and relaxation. No experience is necessary and modifications are suggested for most exercises.
