NATURE GUIDED FOREST THERAPY | 40+ YRS Jennifer Ramsey Forest therapy, or forest bathing, is a research-based framework for supporting wellness inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-Yoku. Slow down and connect with nature using your spirit and senses. Your guide, trained by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, leads you in a series of activities on a gentle walk. Dress for the weather, including sturdy, preferably waterproof shoes, as trails can be muddy. Challenge Level 3. UNDERSTANDING ALZHEIMER’S & DEMENTIA SERIES Join others in learning how to navigate Alzheimer’s and Dementia disease processes in this special series. The goal is to provide care and support to both those affected with these challenging diagnoses and their families. WITS WORKOUT | 50+ YRS Loretta Sweeney, OSU Extension This engaging class is designed to keep the mind active, sharp, and healthy through a variety of fun brain teasers and cognitive exercises. Participants enjoy puzzles, memory games, logic challenges, and problem-solving activities that stimulate thinking and encourage mental flexibility. The class promotes focus, memory, and overall brain health in a relaxed, supportive environment. No prior experience is needed - just curiosity and a willingness to challenge your brain while having fun and connecting with others.
