JUMPBUNCH SPORTS CAMP | 3-9 YRS Amazing Athletes All of the best JumpBunch has to offer is packed into an exciting week of activities for your little one. Each day, campers huddle up, warm up and play an introductory game. This is followed by the exploration of several different sports through instruction and activities. Loads of games, crafts, hikes, obstacle courses and more sports continue throughout the day. Campers should dress to be very active and bring a peanut-free snack and water bottle each day. Full day campers in section B should also bring a peanut-free lunch. Kids explore the heart, lungs, digestion, bones, spine, eyes, muscles, and brain. They also learn first aid, hand washing, and fun facts like why we burp and have snot. Through interactive lessons and role-playing, participants use real medical tools and practice essential skills. The program concludes with a mini-graduation ceremony where each child receives a diploma from Little Medical School. Campers get prepared for the World Cup by learning and playing in a variety of soccer drills, activities, and games. Campers then step into the roles of athletic trainers and orthopedic surgeons, learning how to check reflexes and diagnose and treat common sports injuries such as sprains, strains, and athlete’s foot. They delve into the famous Tommy John surgery for arm and elbow issues and create models of a hand, joint, and tendon. Kids also learn about the importance of stretching, broken bones, muscles, physical therapy, proper hydration, and concussions. Campers should dress to be active and pack a peanut-free snack and lunch along with a water bottle each day. Our camp focuses on 10 different sports, including baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field and volleyball. Campers build teamwork through partner-based activities. The goal is to create a fun environment that establishes lifetime connections to sports and physical activity. Campers should dress to be VERY active and pack a peanut-free snack and water bottle each day. Full day campers in section B should also bring a peanut-free lunch.
