BEGINNING CROCHET | 13+ YRS Joyce Lewis Crocheting is therapeutic and a wonderful hobby for any time of the year. Learn basic crochet skills including chain stitching and other simple stitches, how to hold a crochet hook and how to attach new yarn. We also discuss how to correct simple mistakes and how to read a pattern. Practice crocheting flat and in the round with supervision from our experienced (and extremely patient!) instructor. Learn basic knitting skills including casting on, knit and purl stitches, shaping and binding off. We cover how to correct simple mistakes and how to read a pattern.
