PROGRAM FAQS Do I need to register before I attend a class? Yes, most programs require pre-registration prior to attending, except for those included in the Adult Group Fitness Pass. When can I sign up for my program? Most programs are available for registration once season registration opens. If a special registration date is set for a program, it is noted with the program information. INTERESTED IN LEADING A CLASS? Instructors are always in demand for UA Parks & Rec programming. The majority of programming is provided by contractual instructors who provide program proposals in advance of season planning. If you are interested in offering a program or know someone you’d like to recommend, please reach out to UA Parks & Rec at parks@uaoh.net. HOW TO READ A PROGRAM LISTING ACTIVITY AND AGE Activity name and the eligible age range. ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR Instructor name, affiliations and qualifications, if applicable. DESCRIPTION What participants experience, specific program requirements and equipment information. THEME Specific themed section of an activity, if applicable. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Includes 6 digit activity number (before the letter) that can be used when registering or when searching for the program online. Also includes the times, dates and day of the week when activity meets. Skip dates are also noted. LOCATION Facility, room name and/or location name; addresses are listed above, under “Class Locations.” FEES & SESSIONS Fees for Residents (R), Residents and Bob Crane Community Center Members (R-BCCC M) and Non-Residents (NR) and the number of times the activity meets. Non-resident members receive the R-BCCC M rate for programs.
I s a membership required to sign up for programs? No, a Bob Crane Community Center membership is not required for most program participation. However, non-members may not access membership amenities such as the 1918 Lounge and coffee bar, or personal use of the gyms, track, pool or fitness areas/equipment. Non-members may only access programs for which they are pre-registered. How early may I arrive for my program at the Bob Crane Community Center, and may I remain in the building after? Non-members may enter the building and check in at the front desk no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of their program and are expected to leave upon its conclusion. Who may accompany me to my program? Non-member aides or parents/guardians of youth and their minors may accompany participants to their program locations. Non-members may not use facility amenities outside of program participation. Additional instructions are provided to program participants regarding the attendance of other spectators or guests for special programs or events.
