Registration Highlights

Registration Dates Spring & Summer Program Registration Begins: Verified Residents & Bob Crane Community Center Members: 6 am, Wednesday, March 11 Non-Residents: 6 am, Friday, March 13 Seasonal registration opens first to verified residents and/or members of the Bob Crane Community Center. Residents either pay income or property tax to the City of Upper Arlington, and must submit proof (utility bill, driver’s license/state ID, rental agreement, pay stub, tax return, etc.) through their online account or in person at the Bob Crane Community Center. Proof is required for verification in order to register early and receive resident rates. All program registrations, facility passes, memberships and rentals require an online account at parks.uaoh. net. If you are a previous UA Parks & Rec participant, you can retrieve your username or reset your password on the login screen. If you are a new customer, Click “Create an Account.” Need help? In person: Bob Crane Community Center, 3200 Tremont Road UA Parks & Rec facilities are cash free. Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, or credit voucher. Payments can be made via check by appointment in our Administrative office on Level 2 of the Bob Crane Community Center. Receipts with transaction details and any special instructions are sent to the email address on file in your online account. Program Waitlist Procedures – Most programs have a waitlist after maximum enrollment has been reached. Waitlisted individuals are notified by phone or email if a spot opens and should respond as soon as possible to secure their place in the program.

PLAY UA Fee - We collect a $1 fee for most financial transactions which supports our PLAY UA Financial Assistance program. When registering for multiple programs, the fee only applies once per transaction; reservations and memberships incur separate fees. Helpful Hints for Online Registration: • Login to your account prior to registration. • Ensure all your household members are listed in your online account. • Make sure all birthdays are correct. • Use the clickable online Activity Guide to be Quickly directed to registration for each program. • Use the “General Activity Search” function to find a program by entering its six-digit activity number (leave off the letter) in the Keyword Search or Activity Number box. PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS Minimum Enrollment Requirement – Most programs require a minimum number of registrants for a program to take place. Cancellation decisions are generally communicated via email two-to-five business days in advance of a program, but sometimes occur further in advance. We encourage you to sign up early! If we cancel – UA Parks & Rec reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollments or other unforeseen circumstances. Participants are notified and full refunds are issued when a program is fully cancelled. Credit card refunds may take up to three days to process; check refunds may take up to 30 days. If you cancel – To receive a refund, (minus a $5 processing fee) you must contact UA Parks & Rec at least five full business days in advance of the start date of the originally scheduled program, unless stated otherwise in the program description. Refunds for 50+ Travel and camps are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are issued based upon the original payment method. Due to the structure of our programming, we cannot provide make ups when you miss a program. Credits – If eligible for a refund, you may opt for a full credit to your account instead. If you miss the refund deadline, and cannot participate in a program due to a personal medical condition or hardship, we can consider your request for a credit. Contact UA Parks & Rec as soon as possible with the reason for your cancellation. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
