Bob Crane Community Center Building Rules The rules listed below apply to the entire building.

• Proper attire, including footwear (no bare feet), shirts, and cover-ups, must be worn at all times inside the facility, except in locker rooms, swimming areas, or when directed by a program instructor. Specific areas of the BCCC may have additional attire requirements, which are posted in those areas. Guests shall wear clothing in common areas of locker rooms (refrain from being naked in sight of others); showers stalls and changing rooms are provided to change in and out of swim/workout clothing. • Unless otherwise authorized by law, pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code, no person shall knowingly possess, have under the person’s control, convey or attempt to convey a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance onto these premises (Ohio Revised Code 2923.1212). • A valid concealed handgun license does not authorize the carrying of weapons into the BCCC (Ohio Revised Code 2923.126). BCCC User Expectations: BCCC members and guests are expected to foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. To maintain this welcoming atmosphere, the following user expectations are in place: • Exhibit appropriate behavior and follow instructions while participating in, spectating, or attending BCCC activities and programs. • Show respect for all individuals and BCCC property. • Demonstrate self-control and appropriate conduct. • Refrain from using foul or abusive language. • Do not engage in behavior that could pose a danger to yourself or others or create a hostile environment. • Adhere to and follow all BCCC and City of Upper Arlington rules and policies at all times. Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in consequences, including possible suspension or termination of BCCC membership or program enrollment. Membership Cancellation BCCC memberships have a monthly auto-deduction run on the first business day of each month. Cancellation requests must be received by the 24th of the month to take effect before the next billing cycle. There is no cancelation fee or refunds for previous monthly payments. Additional rules may be posted in specific areas or rooms. • To access the Bob Crane Community Center (BCCC), customers must have a current membership, purchase a day pass, be enrolled in a program, or be a guest of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). Tours and self-guided tours are allowed when available and upon request. • All individuals entering the building must either scan in through our access control system or check in at the front desk. • BCCC members must present their membership fob at each visit to gain access to the facility. • BCCC memberships are non-transferable and may be considered void if used by anyone other than the designated individual. • Program participants who are not BCCC members may enter the building no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of their program and are required to leave once the program concludes. • Non-member caregivers, parents, or guardians of youth participants may accompany them to program locations but must remain in designated waiting areas. • Children 10 years of age and older may enter the facility without an adult supervisor. All children ages 9 years and under must be supervised at all times by a responsible individual who is at least 16 years old. The supervising individual is responsible for ensuring the child’s safety while using the facility. There must be one responsible individual for every four children ages 5-9 years. There must be one responsible individual for every two children ages 4 years and under, unless directly supervised by child’s parent/guardian.Children ages 16 years and older are permitted in the fitness spaces and most fitness classes. Children ages 12-15 years may use the fitness spaces when directly supervised by a parent or guardian, or after successfully completing the Junior Fitness Orientation Program. • Children ages 12 and older are permitted on the indoor track. Children ages 8 -11 years may use the indoor track when directly supervised by a parent or guardian. The fitness ages rule applies to fitness equipment on the track. • Service animals are permitted in the BCCC. These are animals that are individually trained to perform tasks or work for people with disabilities. Emotional support animals and companion animals are not permitted.
