MEDICARE SUPPORT Medicare Open Enrollment 1:30-2:30 pm, Tu, Sept 17, Tremont Library
Find out how the Oct 15-Dec 7 Medicare Open Enrollment Period can work for you. Get unbiased tips on how to enroll for 2024 coverage in a Medicare prescription drug plan (Part D) and/ or a Medicare Health plan. See if you qualify to SAVE an average of $5,000 on prescription drug costs. Make an individual appointment with OSHIIP staff to review your Medicare coverage options for 2025. The goals: reduce calls for emergency services; reduce unecessary hospitalizations; provide healthcare navigation support; make connections with community resources. • CARES Registry - team members meet with and learn about the needs of caregivers and individuals with cognitive, communication or mobility impairments, or complex medical needs, to develop a trusting relationship in readiness for any emergency situations. • Home Safety Checks & Fall Risk Assessments – a CARES representative can conduct a confidential home and non-medical health assessment to help individuals remain safely in their homes. • Community CPR: Heartsaver/AED Program - attain CPR certification and learn how to use an Automatic External Defibrilabor (AED) through this class. Students become certified in Heartsaver CPR/AED for two years upon completion of class. Register for Program #442331 , at parks.uaoh.net, or in person, at UA Parks & Rec, 3600 Tremont Road.
