DICKENS VICTORIAN VILLAGE TOUR | 50+ YRS Recreation Staff Find holiday cheer on a tour of Dickens Victorian Village in historic downtown Cambridge, Ohio. We are met by a costumed step-on guide who tells stories of the Village and explains the over 92 scenes of 180 lifelike figures representing classic scenes from the Victorian era of Charles Dickens. We also visit the Dickens Welcome Center, the Guernsey County Historical Museum, and the National Museum of Cambridge Glass. Enjoy a four-course meal and elegant tea with Queen Victoria, as the queen tells stories of her life in London between courses. At the end of the day we enjoy a little time for shopping and the opportunity to watch the Dickens Courthouse Light Show with 5,000 lights synchronized to holiday music. Don’t miss this trip filled with reenactors, learning opportunities, fun and holiday spirit. Guides, admissions transportation to and from the Senior Center in our 14-passenger bus and a four-course lunch is all included. Bring a payment method for any gift shopping. Dinner is on your own after the conclusion of our day trip. Challenge Level 2. Register by 12/3. Day Trip Cancellation Policy If you must cancel a trip reservation, notify us as soon as possible. Unless an earlier registration deadline or refund policy is listed, our regular cancellation policy requiring 5 full business days advance notice or more applies. Contact us no less than 5 full business days in advance or before the refund deadline to receive a refund or credit minus a $5 processing fee. Americans with Disabilities Act Policy Reasonable accommodations are made for travelers with disabilities. Travelers who require assistance must register a traveling companion at their expense to assist during the trip.
