PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY–OUTDOORS | 18+ YRS Volunteer Led Registrants should meet the ratings listed below according to the USA Pickleball Association Player Skill Ratings rubric. Basic instruction and a rudimentary overview of rules can be provided for beginners. Pre-registration required. Limited availability of paddles and balls; bringing your own is recommended. Play is self-organized. No rain makeup dates; players are refunded for any cancelled days. Cancellations announced via Remind, otherwise a play time decision is made, or play is at your own risk. Register for the whole session. If you can no longer attend a date, we recommend finding a sub. Registered players are provided a sub list to help find subs, should they have a need. To become a sub, register for the “Pickleball Open Play Sub List” (442997 A) at no cost. No waitlist available; if a day is full, players should join the sub list. LEARN TO PLAY PICKLEBALL WITH A PRO 14+ YRS Pat Sambas Join this fun session for beginners and novice players led by senior pro tournament player and certified PPR/DUPR coach Pat Sambas. Learn scoring, rules, court positioning and basic strokes in a supportive environment. No paddle? No problem! Athletic attire is recommended. By the end, players feel confident and ready to play.
