QPR TRAINING | 18+ YRS Nate Hall – UA CARES social worker Learn practical, proven suicide prevention skills through QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training from the QPR Institute. Participants learn how to recognize warning signs of suicide, offer hope, and connect individuals with appropriate support and resources. D, Metta Psychology Group Join a licensed clinical psychologist for an engaging discussion about Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and young adults. You learn how to spot the early signs, how symptoms present across ages, and when and how to seek further assessment. This hands-on class focuses on fall ingredients that love your gut. Think of fermented apple slaw, miso-roasted root vegetables, bone broth soup, and pumpkin-spiced kefir parfaits. The class covers adult, child and infant CPR. This class does not meet the certification requirements for anything related to Health Care Providers. Participants must be able to kneel. Optional training manual is available for $3; must be purchased in advance and can be picked up at the class. Circuit Bootcamp is a dynamic, full-body group fitness class designed to improve strength, balance, endurance, and core stability. This class combines weights and cardio for a fast-paced circuit format that keeps participants engaged and challenged. Participants rotate through stations that incorporate bodyweight resistance, functional movement, and balance training to deliver a total-body workout suitable for a wide range of fitness levels. This immersive experience is designed for anyone feeling exhausted, burnout, or in need of a reset. You begin with a restorative yoga practice that takes the muscular effort out of the poses and replaces it with the support of props. A guided meditation to put participants in a state of relaxation is followed by a sound bath that invites you to fill your cup of capacity.
