Participants learn in a variety of exercises including figure drawing, still life and abstract. Materials used include pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, and markers. We try a variety of methods to find what works best for the student. Learn basic knitting skills including casting on, knit and purl stitches, shaping and binding off. We cover how to correct simple mistakes and how to read a pattern. Work on a sample piece of stitches with supervision from our experienced (and extremely patient!) instructor. Knitting needles, practice yarn and an instruction booklet included.
