SHOOTING STARS BASKETBALL | 7-9 YRS Bally Sports Group LLC Enjoy learning about the game of basketball with Shooting Stars Basketball. Players learn the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense and the concept of game play. This program also features fun-based contests and competitions to keep the learning interactive and enjoyable. LITTLE SLUGGERS T-BALL | 3-4 YRS Bally Sports Group LLC Bally Sports Group’s Little Sluggers is a great introduction to the game of baseball for young children. Each week, the program includes an instructional portion that introduces players to batting, base running, fielding, throwing, and catching. A modified game is also played each week. Parent participation is strongly encouraged. The Little Sluggers T-Ball program provides your child with a fun and positive t-ball experience that encourages future participation! All participants receive a soft-fit team shirt and hat. 231304 A 9:30-10:30 am Sa 9/12-10/10 MINOR LEAGUE COACH PITCH BASEBALL | 5-7 YRS Bally Sports Group LLC Bally Sports Group’s Minor League Baseball is a great introduction to coach-pitch baseball for beginning baseball players. Skills taught include batting, fielding, throwing, and catching. The program also includes a modified, non competitive game each week. As the weeks progress, game scenarios are added to allow children to learn within the context of the game. Children are able to use a Tee during the game if they are having difficulty hitting a pitched ball. Parent participation is welcomed in this program. Keepy Uppy is like t-ball for volleyball! Perfect for young kids, it is played with a beach ball on a pickleball net. Participants learn basic volleyball skills and concepts in a game that allows them to more easily ‘volley,’ making it more exciting and rewarding to play. Registrants are placed on a team and receive a jersey. Each week includes 25-minutes of practice followed by a 20-minute match. 232350 A 9:30-10:15 am Su 9/20-11/1 BEAR CUB FIELD HOCKEY | 5-11 YRS Emily Oakley Join us for a fun afternoon of field hockey. We focus on introducing and developing skills through small games and competitions. Athletes work with UAFH coaching staff and returning players from the 2025 State Runners-Up team. Register by 9/1 for a t-shirt and free entry to the Varsity Youth Night Game on 9/23. All experience levels are welcome, and sticks can be provided as needed! 232151 A 4-6 pm Su 9/20 CAPOEIRA BRASIL: YOUTH | 6-12 YRS Joseph Lewis & Elton Brasil De Costa Capoeira is a Brazilian Fusion Activity that combines elements of martial arts, dance, acrobatics, and music. Rooted in African and Brazilian cultural traditions, it is characterized by fluid movements, kicks, and spins. Capoeira fosters a sense of community, emphasizing collaboration and respect.
