BOTANICAL STUDIES | 50+ YRS Mindy Newman Have fun drawing different flowers and fruit and then bringing them to life with watercolor. Find inspiration in prints, photos or books. You just need one sheet of paper, and you can pick the size that suits you best. Remember, these are just studies, so no pressure for them to be perfect. If you prefer to work with other materials, go for it. Pack a lunch or snack for the day as we take a break at Noon. You may choose to draw, paint or use both medias. TINY LIBRARY CRAFT | 50+ YRS Kris Stahler

Join us to make tiny libraries in an Altoids size tin. A large selection of book covers to choose from to make it personal are provided. Decide which wallpaper and plant would best complete your miniature library. Please bring scissors to cut out the small book covers. All other supplies included. In this one-time workshop, participants learn basic techniques for drawing what they see, experiment with a variety of drawing tools and then explore select areas of the community center to create their own landscape or architecture drawing.
