UA CARES (Community Assistance, Referrals, and Education Services) is a collaborative program between the City’s Fire and Police divisions. The team promotes community health by bringing together paramedics, officers, and a social worker to educate residents, prevent injuries, and address healthcare and wellness needs. Services include home safety evaluations, fall prevention, connections to medical, social, and financial resources, and emergency preparedness training. Through proactive care and education, UA CARES helps reduce emergencies and strengthen community connections.
