ADULT FITNESS POLICIES Want to try a new class? Before committing, students may try out one session of a class on the Fitness Schedule Grid with no payment obligation. Introduce yourself to the instructor and complete the fitness waiver. Register on time – Although participants may still enroll after a fitness class begins, there is a revenue amount that needs to be covered for a class to be financially viable. If we don’t reach that target figure by the start date of the class, we may be forced to cancel. To avoid unexpected cancellations of your regular class,please register promptly. Missed a fitness class? If you miss a class, make it up in any other class on the Fitness Schedule Grid during the designated section of your absence. Missed class due to cancellation – UA is unable to provide refunds or credits for cancellations due to inclement weather or building closures. Make-ups are available in any other Fitness Grid class. Refunds or credits are given for instructor cancellations . Customize your program – Classes on the Fitness Schedule Grid may be prorated. If you are unable to attend all of the scheduled sessions in a section, we can adjust to the frequency or number of classes that suits you best. Prorating must be done during your initial transaction. Because of increased staff time and the unpredictability of class revenues due to prorating, the prorate fee reflects a slightly increased rate per class. Enrolling for two days of a three-day-a-week class remains at the standard price per class. Prorating is not available online.
