This is a great opportunity to get your kids moving. Parkour is the sport of overcoming obstacles. It’s a fun, dynamic and rewarding activity that challenges kids through a range of fundamental skills, such as jumping, running, climbing, vaulting, and balancing. Kids leave the class with a better foundation for all sports. They learn how to move safely and are inspired to stay physically active. Parkour is great for girls and boys, and encourages self-reliance and cooperation in a supportive, non competitive atmosphere. The class covers adult, child and infant CPR. This class does not meet the certification requirements for anything related to Health Care Providers. Participants must be able to kneel. This program is in a competition pool with lap lanes in place. Participants enter through the Natatorium vestibule on the south side of the High School. Changing rooms are available. We hold a lane for families to swim but this program is primarily for lap swimmers. Swerve Hip Hop is a dance fitness program where everyone is welcome regardless of their fitness level or dance skills. This class incorporates basic choreography with fitness elements, providing a sense of challenge but still easy enough for beginners. This high intensity cardio class has your heart rate reaching new levels. Full body kickboxing moves are followed by a 10 minute core workout. Can be prorated for a specific number of classes.
