DOODLES WORKSHOP Doodling is the limitless drawing activity that stimulates movement in the mind by making art forms with expressive, loose moving lines, repeating patterns, and simple imagery, organic or geometric forms in black and white or color. It is a very simple process, requires very few materials and there are no strict rules. It can be a personal, creative art expression or serve as a therapeutic mental and physical practice leading to

DANGLING DOODLES WORKSHOP In this class you combine Doodles and Dangles to create stunning designs that can be used vertically or horizontally. You go beyond the simple basic shapes learned in the Doodles and Dangles class and go to the next level of design by learning spacing and sizing which allows the designs to be used wherever necessary. Dangles are beautiful illustrated strings of charms that can be used to decorate letters, shapes and objects. They can hang gracefully from the top of note cards and stationery. There are no limits to your creativity and what makes a dangle interesting are the unique charms you can add to them such as a heart, diamond, circle, arrow, cloud, square or swirl. Select line styles that enhance and complement your overall creation. While the research is well-documented, how does this actually work in the body? Each week you learn about aspects of aging that can be slowed or reversed with art activities, then, complete an art project that can enhance your life. Bring a notebook and pen for taking notes, all art supplies are provided. MINDFUL MANDALA DRAWING CLASS 50+ YRS Kathy Rausch Mandalas are spiritual art with a deep significance. A traditional mandala is a square containing a circle, and the entire design is symmetrical and balanced. Creating mandalas calms and activates your mind with sacred geometry and creativity, and has been scientifically proven to create a sense of balance, calm and joy. All supplies included.
