In many states, drivers may benefit from a discount on their auto insurance premium upon completing the course. Learn something new along the way. In fact, an evaluation of the course found that 97% of participants changed at least one driving habit as a result of what they learned. A $20 AARP Member/$25 Non-AARP Member class fee is due to the instructor the day of the class. Exact cash or check payable to AARP. Filled with just released northern prisoners of war, over 1,700 people die from the explosion, by drowning or burning to death, on the early morning of April 27, 1865.
