SUMMER 2 INDOOR SWIM LESSONS REGISTRATION: Registration for indoor swim lesson youth sections beginning in July opens June 22 at 6 am for Residents and BCCC members and at Noon for Non-Residents. PARENT GUARDIAN CHILD 1 | 6 MOS-3 YRS Familiarize children with the water and teach swimming readiness skills. Provide safety information for parents and teach techniques parents can use to orient their children to the water. Parent/guardians are expected to get in the water with 5 sessions PARENT/GUARDIAN/CHILD 2 | 6 MOS-3 YRS Improve skills learned in Parent and Child Aquatics Level 1 and teach more advanced skills. Continue to build on water safety knowledge. Comfort level with skills taught in Parent and Child Aquatics Level 1. This program is designed to give individuals an opportunity to experience the benefits of aquatics and prepare for the possibility of progressing into our American Red Cross swim lesson program. With the assistance of aquatics staff, participants work on their swimming abilities and comfort level in the water. These individual classes are taught in a non competitive environment and 1:1 with an instructor, allowing each child to progress at their own pace.
