Make-Up Classes In the event we need to cancel a lesson due to conditions out of our control (weather, mechanical, etc.) we make every attempt to schedule a make-up lesson pending availability of instructors and facility schedules. All outdoor make-up classes are scheduled Saturday mornings. Outdoor Swim Lesson Registration All registration for outdoor swim lessons opens with seasonal registration on March 11 at 6 am for residents and BCCC members and on March 13 at 6 am for non-residents. YOUTH OUTDOOR SWIM LESSONS

The Learn-to-Swim program offers American Red Cross swim lessons for ages six months through adult, at all skill levels. Learn-to-Swim teaches water safety skills in logical group classes at all our facilities. The Learn-to-Swim Program focuses on building skills one step at a time by giving participants the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next. Outdoor Swim Lesson Structure Participants receive up to 10 lessons (8 guaranteed) Monday Friday for 30-minutes each, which teach swimming and water safety skills. Signage is provided for where to meet instructors on deck for the first lesson. Instructors spend part of the first class assessing skills. Instructors reserve the right to change placement and class time to provide the best possible learning experience for everyone. If you are unsure of your child’s level, please be sure to give us a call before registering.
