SUPERHERO BOOT SUMMER CAMP | 3-9 YRS JumpBunch Staff This camp is all about training to be your favorite superhero! Being a superhero means having strength, agility, balance and speed. We focus on learning special superhero training skills through fun games and activities such as “jumping over hot lava,” “dodging fireballs,” “lightsaber training,” “scooter flying,” “ghostbuster tag,” and many more! Being a superhero also means having compassion for society, a kind heart and a willingness to do good and help others. These are qualities we discuss with our campers. This camp encourages campers to be superheroes in everyday life! Campers should dress to be very active and bring a peanut-free snack and water bottle each day. MINI SPORTS CAMP | 4-7 YRS Bally Sports Group LLC Young campers have a ball at the Mini Sports Camp! Each day focuses on a different sport, including soccer, basketball, football, floor hockey, track and field and more. Staff ensures campers participate in a well-supervised environment that promotes positive social interactions and emphasizes the importance of sportsmanship. Campers play exciting camp games throughout the week and leave excited about the new skills they learn each day. All campers receive a camp shirt. A baseball glove and shin guards are recommended but not required. MINOR LEAGUE COACH PITCH BASEBALL 5-7 YRS Bally Sports Group LLC Bally Sports Group Minor League Baseball is a great introduction to coach-pitch baseball for beginning players. The instructional portion of the program uses developmentally appropriate drills with modifications and progressions as needed, helping every child improve their baseball skills, regardless of their current abilities. Skills taught include batting, fielding, throwing and catching. The program also includes a modified, non-competitive game each week. As the weeks progress, new aspects of the game and game scenarios are introduced, allowing children to learn within the context of the game. Children can use a Tee during the game if they have difficulty hitting a pitched ball. Parent participation is welcomed in this program. All participants receive a soft-fit t-shirt and a team hat. A baseball glove is required for all participants. 222380 A 11 am-12:15 pm Sa 6/7-7/12 Skyhawks Sports cheerleading teaches young athletes all the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the team while preparing for competition. Participants should wear appropriate athletic attire and bring a mouthguard and lacrosse stick. *Skyhawks can provide lacrosse sticks to participants if needed. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear tennis shoes. Athletes learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship and teamwork. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks and wear appropriate athletic attire and tennis shoes.
