BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE CHESS CAMP 6-14 YRS Kyle Jones This camp introduces students to the fundamentals of chess, including rules, strategies, tournament procedures and proper etiquette, equipping them with the knowledge to play both casually and competitively with friends and family. Ideal for beginners or those looking to boost their confidence, the camp provides a solid foundation for improving their game. Each morning, campers explore essential concepts, such as world champion opening strategies, middle game ideas, endgame patterns and tactical motifs. In the afternoons, students have the chance to compete against one another, solve chess puzzles, play bughouse (doubles chess), participate in daily camp tournaments and conclude the week with an exciting playoff tournament. 222891 A 2-4:30 pm M-F 6/2-6/6 BCCC, Level 5, Event Center Room A $215 R-BCCC M | $258 NR O 5 sessions Education Are you ready to educate your child about the responsibilities of being home alone?
