Older Adult MEN’S AND WOMEN’S 50+ TRAVEL PICKLEBALLZONE LEAGUES | 50+ YRS These two leagues consist of separate men’s and women’s teams for individuals 50 and over, traveling for matches throughout Central Ohio. Start time for matches are Fridays from 9 am to 10:30 am at the various locations. Home matches are played at Fancyburg Park. On rain dates, matches would take place indoors; nominal entrance fees apply for indoor play. Matches are held May 30-July 25. There are no matches on July 4 due to the holiday. A play-off of the top teams takes place on August 1. League open to players of all levels. Limited team roster availability. We are looking for team captains, too! Play is self organized. Limited enrollment and pre-registration required. Courts provided. Limited availability of paddles and balls; bringing your own is recommended. No rain makeup dates; players are refunded for any cancelled days. Cancellations announced via “Remind” text/app messaging (see receipt for details); otherwise a play time decision is made or play is at your own risk. Register for each day you plan to attend. If you can no longer attend, we recommend finding a sub. If you cannot find a sub, you may cancel up to five business days in advance and receive a refund minus a $5 processing fee. Registered players are provided a sub list to help find subs, should they have a need. To become a sub, register for the “Pickleball Open Play Sub List” (442997 A) at no cost.
