TAP DANCE FOR BEGINNERS | 50+ YRS Mary Bova-Ervin This beginning-level tap class for baby boomers and seniors teaches the fundamentals of tap using various techniques and styles. This class has lots of pizzazz and you learn steps with New York flair. No experience needed, so come on out and have some fun while tapping. Coordination and balance are improved as you discover many different rhythm patterns. Tap shoes are required and you may choose the style of shoe you prefer. The Senior Center has a proactive Senior Association, led by the Senior Advisory Council. The Advisory Council meets regularly throughout the year to provide our staff additional guidance and feedback on our older adult services and programs. The Senior Association provides additional resources and support to the Senior Center to ensure members continue to enjoy quality programming and experiences. Annual membership in the UA Senior Association is $15 R | $20 NR. After enrollment in the Senior Association, all Senior Center classes, programs, and events are set up a-la-carte style so you only register and pay for the programs that interest you. To join the Senior Association, visit the UA Senior Center or call our office at 614-583-5320. New to line dancing or maybe it has been a while? Join this Friday group to learn the basics of line dancing.
