Fourth of July Celebrations Thursday, July 4 9 am | Parade Begins: Northwest Blvd, starting at Kingsdale 5 pm | Party in the Park Gates Open: Northam Park 10 pm | Fireworks: Northam Park It’s no secret that UA puts on an incredible Independence Day Celebration, thanks to UACA. Start your day enjoying an impressive parade along Northwest Blvd. After enjoying a leisurely afternoon with friends and family, head to Northam Park for the evening festival and fireworks.

UACA Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Trail Saturday, March 16 10 am | Easter Egg Hunt Bunny Trail to Follow Thompson Park 4250 Woodbridge Rd UACA and UA Parks & Rec invite children nine yrs. & under to take part in the fastest 55 seconds in UA! If it rains, candy is passed out drive thru style.

Special Event & Park Use Permit Requests The City has an application and permitting process for special events requiring use of City property and/or City logistical support. This includes quarterly submission deadlines. Park Use Permits are required for groups wishing to hold small activities on City park property that do not

disrupt the typical public use of the park. Activities requiring a Park Use Permit are typically private, must be free to attend and must not be a commercial use. These activities have no concession sales or vendors, though donations to a non-profit organization are allowed to be collected. They also do not include tents or temporary structures. Park Use activities have limited event components, minimal safety concerns, and do not require preparation or clean up time by City staff. Park Use Permits are also required for all organized filming and photography activities taking place on City park property.
