PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY EVENING SESSIONS 18+ YRS Enjoy pickleball in an open play format at a convenient evening time. Registrants should ensure they meet the ratings listed below according to the USA Pickleball Association Player Skill Ratings Rubric. Limited enrollment and pre-registration required. Courts provided. Limited availability of paddles and balls; bringing your own is recommended. No rain dates; players are refunded for cancelled days. Similar to summer, registration for remains by date for our Fall pickleball open play programs. Players register for each date they plan to attend instead of for multiple week sections. Anyone registered for a date they can no longer attend can cancel up to five business days in advance and receive a refund minus a $5 processing fee per transaction. Otherwise we ask players to find their own sub. Registered players are provided the sub list to use when looking for subs or they can use their own contacts (additional waiver required for subs not on sub list). We offer a “Pickleball Open Play Sub List” (443997 A) for Fall (September-October) registration at no cost. Players provide contact information, estimated rating and availability when registering. All sub list information included in registration is shared with Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday night and Monday morning players to provide assistance as they search for subs. INTERMEDIATE PICKLEBALL CLINIC | 18+ YRS Holly & Steve Rea The Intermediate Clinic is focused on adding new skills to your game for level 3.0/3.5. We cover different skills to help improve your game such as dinking, third shot drops, serves and returns and more. Your individual ranking on a ladder is based upon your winning percentage (the ratio of points won to total points possible). Each week, players are placed in groups of four in the order of their ranking on the ladder for match play. Registrants must be 3.5-4.0 players according to the USA Pickleball Player Skill Ratings rubric. Rain date scheduled on October 18. 443988 A 5:30-7 pm W 9/6-10/11 Thompson Park Tennis Courts $86 R | $103 NR O 6 sessions FALL PICKLEBALL DOUBLES TOURNAMENT 18+ YRS Jim Lathrop Compete in this non-sanctioned, outdoor doubles shootout tournament! Four divisions available for players rated 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5 according to the USA Pickleball Association Player Skill Ratings rubric. Maximum of 12 teams per division. Sign up as a team for the division matching the skill level of the most advanced player in your duo. Teams guaranteed at least six matches, with a round robin followed by a playoff to determine placing. First, second and third place teams in each division receive awards. Sign up one person per team; price is per team, not per person. Note your team member through registration. Teams and divisions are co-ed; teams can be same gender or mixed. Please sign up no later than September 17. The anticipated start times for each division are listed below (subject to change); we anticipate play for each division to last between two-three hours with full registration, or less with fewer teams.
