PHOTOS 1 After learning the Camera, this class looks at how the Photos app automatically organizes the photos you take. We also discuss dealing with duplicates, purging burst shots, sharing and printing photos and more. 553236 A 1-3 pm M 12/4 Senior Center Bldg 3, Rm 301 $22 INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTO EDITING | 50+ YRS David Holtzapple Learn the basic techniques that can be done with modern computerized editing software as well as discussion of capabilities and purposes for some of the most popular and powerful of the editing software available. Demonstrations are shown using Adobe Software and Apples Photos. The techniques apply to many of the software packages as well. The purpose is not to understand the nitty gritty nuts and bolts of the techniques; rather to introduce what is available and what can be done with digital photos. 553264 A 1-3 pm W 10/25 Senior Center Bldg 3, Rm 301 $20 BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY & EDITING 50+ YRS David Holtzapple A discussion of concepts of correct exposures, effects of shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Learn the basic concepts and how they affect photographs that you take. Also learn about various programs available to edit your photography, primarily the capabilities and basic concepts behind photo editing rather than focus on specifics of any one program. UA Senior Association

The Senior Center has a proactive Senior Association, led by the Senior Advisory Council. The Advisory Council meets regularly throughout the year to provide our staff additional guidance and feedback on our older adult services and programs. The Senior Association provides additional resources and support to the Senior Center to ensure members continue to enjoy quality programming and experiences. Annual membership in the UA Senior Association is $15 R | $20 NR. After enrollment in the Senior Association, all Senior Center classes, programs, and events are set up a-la-carte style so you only register and pay for the programs that interest you.
