Eliana Saari

Endangered: Dublin Area Art League Juried Exhibit July 12–September 15 Endangered refers to something or someone that is at risk of harm, loss, failure, or social deprivation, and is in danger of becoming extinct. Capturing the essence of this theme, members of the Dublin Area Art League bring thought provoking artwork in a variety of media to this juried exhibit. Experience this captivating display of art that inspires action towards a more sustainable and equitable world. Walking Among Angels Artist: Eliana Saari September 20-November 10 Reception: Sunday, September 24 | 2-4 pm Award winning national and international artist Eliana Saari combines her fashion design and printmaking experience to bring a life size installation. Saari recreates the feeling of being surrounded by everyday people unaware of their purpose. Silk panels are suspended from the ceiling and printed with images of people walking and standing. Walk amongst the figures and experience moments of mystery as you ask yourself who these people are and where they are going. The Artist’s Process Artists: Miriam Baranov, Anita Dawson, Steven Elbert, and Hiroshi Hayakawa November 15–January 26, 2024 Reception: Sunday, November 19 | 2-4 pm Journey through the mind of an artist. Miriam Baranov, Anita Dawson, Steven Elbert, and Hiroshi Hayakawa join together for this one-of-a-kind art exhibit that demonstrates the power of the creative process to inspire and transform. The Concourse Gallery serves to highlight the City’s ongoing commitment to the arts through revolving and diverse exhibits that are educational, engaging and accessible for all residents and visitors.

The Arlington Gallery is located by the Concourse Gallery near the Parks & Rec Office. The purpose of the Arlington Gallery is to highlight local talent and showcase artists who live and work in Upper Arlington.

Ed Quinn August 7–October 6

Growing up on Long Island, Ed Quinn developed a passion for the shoreline and its habitats, and has found a way to convey his love of the coast through his artwork. Quinn is a self-taught

artist who took up drawing and painting as a hobby after retiring from The Ohio State University where he worked in IT. His visions and inspirations have been influenced by the North Carolina Crystal Coast, a favorite vacation spot. Quinn has been a resident of Upper Arlington for over 35 years. Kathy Cole October 9–December 8 Participating in an online weekly photography the past five years. Each week, Cole is presented with a new challenge prompt that provides an opportunity to learn and grow in her photography journey.
