STAINED & MOSAIC GLASS STUDIO | 50+ YRS Volunteer Led Create your own sun catchers, small and large panels, glass mosaics, stepping stone projects and more in this friendly open studio format. There is no instructor, and each member works independently on their projects. The completion of a beginning stained glass class or equivalent prior experience is required. A large assortment of equipment and supplies are available for use. Get into the holiday spirit and paint a sparkling tree ornament. A simple technique by following step-by-step instruction. You choose the colors you want during the painting process. Then using a toothbrush, you finish the design with tiny specks of paint that bring life into the design. Bring an old toothbrush, all other materials are provided. An instruction sheet is included so you can make more ornaments for your friends and family! Learn how to draw a mandala using ancient techniques of creativity. Create an 8”x8” mandala that is completely unique. Everyone gets the same instructions, and every mandala turns out different. You create two large red bows using two different techniques suitable for adding to a wreath or garland and one mid-sized bow that is perfect to use for decorating Christmas trees or holiday packages. The techniques that are taught break the process down step-by step and takes into account aging hands and arthritic joints.
